WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 13, 2005--Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq:DIOD), leading manufacturer and supplier of high quality discrete semiconductors, today updated its fourth quarter guidance.

Reiterating its prior revenue guidance, the Company announced that revenue for the fourth quarter of 2004 will be approximately 3% lower sequentially from the record revenue of $49.4 million reported in the third quarter. The Company now expects that its fourth quarter gross profit margin will be similar to the 33.9% reported in the third quarter.

C.H. Chen, President and CEO of Diodes Incorporated, said, "Fiscal year 2004 was very successful for Diodes, Inc. On an annual basis, the Company projects that total 2004 revenue will increase nearly 36%, which is well ahead of the estimated 18-20% growth within the discrete semiconductor market."
