Diodes Promotes Francis Tang to VP of Product Development

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., May 25, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq: DIOD), a leading manufacturer and supplier of high quality discrete and analog semiconductors, today announced that it has promoted Francis Tang to Vice President of Product Development. Mr. Tang previously served as Global Product Manager at the Company since August 2005.

Prior to Diodes, Mr. Tang served as general manager of T2 Microelectronics in Shanghai, China where he managed complex mixed-signal SOC product developments. From 1996 to 2001, Mr. Tang was the senior strategic marketing director for Acer Labs, Inc. USA, in San Jose, CA. He also managed Acer Labs Inc.'s San Jose analog design team. Before this, he was employed by National Semiconductor Corp. in Santa Clara, CA, for 17 years and held various management positions in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, applications and strategic marketing. Mr. Tang holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from University of Missouri - Rolla.
