Diodes Incorporated Appoints Ed Tang as Vice President, Corporate Administration

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Sept. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq: DIOD), a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality discrete and analog semiconductors, announced the appointment of Ed Tang as its new Vice President of Corporate Administration, a newly-created executive position. Mr. Tang will be responsible for corporate human resources, corporate information technology and corporate QRA. He will report to Dr. Keh-Shew Lu, President and CEO of Diodes, Inc.

Mr. Tang comes to Diodes, Inc. with 30 years of managerial and engineering experience, including 25 years at Texas Instruments Incorporated ("TI"), where he served as VP and global memory quality manager of the world-wide MOS memory operation, and VP and GM of Asia memory operations. He also established and managed the business units of FSI International Inc., a global supplier of wafer cleaning and processing technology, in Taiwan, Singapore, Korea, and China. Mr. Tang holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the National Taiwan Cheng Kung University, Taiwan and a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas.
