Diodes Incorporated Recognized in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 among the Fastest Growing Technology Companies in Los Angeles

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 10, 2004--Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq:DIOD), a leading manufacturer and supplier of high quality discrete semiconductors, announced that it has been named one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the greater Los Angeles area, according to Deloitte & Touche. The Los Angeles Fast 50 ranks companies based on average revenue percentage growth over five years, which includes speed of growth (not current financial performance or profitability). In a region of more than 5,000 technology companies, our company has demonstrated tremendous achievement.

The ranking and specific achievements of this year's winners will be announced at an awards dinner to be held at The Skirball Cultural Center on September 21st.

The Fast 50 is a regional ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies in 20 regions of the United States and Canada. Selection for the Fast 50 is based on a company's percentage of growth in revenues over the five-year period 1999-2003.

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1999 and $1 million in 2003, must be public or private companies headquartered in North America, and be a "technology company" defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues and/or devoting a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology.
