Diodes Incorporated Updates Guidance for First Quarter of 2006

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., March 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq: DIOD), today updated its guidance for the first quarter of 2006.

The Company now expects first quarter revenue to be in the 18-20% sequential growth range, updated from its previous guidance of a 16-20% sequential increase from its record fourth quarter 2005 revenue of $61.4 million.

In addition, the company now expects first quarter gross profit dollars to grow 10-12% from $21.4 million reported in the fourth quarter, compared to previous guidance of an 8-11% sequential increase. An increase in gross profit margin from analog products was the primary contributor to the gross profit update.
